WELCOME

Porsches in Shenandoah Valley The Shenandoah Region of the Porsche Club of America (PCA) is dedicated to enjoying Porsche cars in central Virginia. While Porsches are the common element, our members provide the club with variety and enthusiasm. We organize scenic driving tours, run six autocrosses each year, and take part in high-performance driver's education events at the Virginia International Raceway. Our premier event is the Richmond Porsche Meet (RPM), a June weekend including a concours, lunch, driving tour, tech session, banquet, and an autocross at the Southside Speedway. We also hold a Christmas party and several social meetings annually.

Nonmembers are welcome to participate in a social meeting, a driving tour, or an autocross. Learn more about the Shenandoah Region PCA and our upcoming events, the PCA Zone 2 comprising 10 nearby regions, the national PCA, and how to JOIN PCA.

To Saude Creek Vineyards
Via New Kent Courthouse
:
The Shenandoah Region PCA invites you to join us on Saturday, March 21 for an exhilarating early springtime drive down the New Kent Highway (Va. 249) past fields, forests, and fences to the exquisite Saude Creek Vineyards. We begin at Maria's Pizza and Italian Eatery in Quinton, VA (near Bottom's Bridge) for refreshment, snacks, and socializing. We then set off along one of the Tidewater's loveliest byways, past the New Kent Winery where, in September, Classics on the Green is held (return there later on your own if you wish), on to the picturesque village of New Kent Courthouse with its colonial buildings, small museum, and Rose and Crown Tavern (best English pub in Eastern VA – also return if you wish), and on up and over rolling rises and around curves to the turnoff to Saude Creek Vineyards. From the winery, where we may do tastings or order Scottish and other specialties a la carte, there is an exquisite view of the tidal reaches of the Pamunkey River. Following our stop there, participants may on their own proceed farther eastward toward Williamsburg (a twenty-minute drive) or return home.

Autocross Test, Tune, & School:

Join the Shenandoah Region PCA on SATURDAY, April 11 for our first autocross event of 2015 at the Augusta County Government Center (map) in Verona (driving directions)! This will be a great event to learn about autocrossing and to get you and your Porsche (or other car) into shape for this year's driving season. If you've never tried an autocross, it's a fun way to test and improve your driving skills.

The day will start with instruction sessions, which will be followed by two one-hour run sessions at the end of the day to put the instruction into practice. A full autocross course will be set up with the timer running and workers on the course. Course workers will have one-hour shifts, and everyone will get to work.

Our events are open to Porsches and other brands of cars. Drivers and spectators do not need to be members of the Porsche Club of America (PCA). Loaner helmets and instruction for novice drivers are provided. There is a large open pavilion that provides shelter from sun and rain, and restrooms are available. Events are held rain or shine.

Registration/Tech opens at 9:30 AM
Drivers meeting and instruction begins at 11:00 AM

Fees for the event:
