Porsches in Shenandoah Valley The Shenandoah Region of the Porsche Club of America (PCA) is dedicated to enjoying Porsche cars in central Virginia. While Porsches are the common element, our members provide the club with variety and enthusiasm. We organize scenic driving tours, run six autocrosses each year, and take part in high-performance driver's education events at the Virginia International Raceway. Our premier event is the Richmond Porsche Meet (RPM), a June weekend including a concours, lunch, driving tour, tech session, banquet, and an autocross at the Southside Speedway. We also hold a Christmas party and several social meetings annually.

Nonmembers are welcome to participate in a social meeting, a driving tour, or an autocross. Learn more about the Shenandoah Region PCA and our upcoming events, the PCA Zone 2 comprising 10 nearby regions, the national PCA, and how to JOIN PCA.

30th Annual Classics On The Green
European Automobile Festival

The 30th annual Classics on the Green car show will take place on Sunday, September 14 at the New Kent Winery. This show has something for everyone—interesting cars and people, food, wine, and entertainment. It has been very popular with Shenandoah members for many years. The featured marque for 2014 is Ferrari. Exhibitors may participate in pre-show activities on Friday evening and Saturday. Part of the proceeds of this event will benefit the Fisher House, an organization that benefits military families in need. For more details, see the show web site.

If you plan to show your car and have it displayed on the field, want to participate in exhibitor activities, or both, you must register in advance.

Advanced tickets for general admission to the Car Show as a spectator and the Wine Festival/Car Show package can be purchased online; click here. Tickets will also be available the day of the show for these two types of admissions.

The First Settlers Region PCA (FSR) is providing free snacks, drinks, and shade under their big hospitality tent on the show field. To partake of this opportunity you must purchase either exhibitor tickets (in advance) or spectator tickets (in advance or at the gate). You also need to register on (no fee) by clicking here to give FSR a headcount. Online registration for FSR's Hospitality Tent closes on Thursday, September 11 at 9:00 AM.

Are you new to DE and on the tire wall about whether Driver's Education is for you? FSR offers a great opportunity for those wanting to get a taste of DE without signing up for the entire event. For a $50 fee, they will get you out on the track in your car with an instructor for a single session after lunch on Saturday. Standard DE safety requirements apply, so you'll need a Snell SA rated helmet. FSR now has a limited number of loaner helmets, so if you need a loaner, please email the registrar to ensure they have your size and reserve it for you before you register.
