Porsches in Shenandoah Valley The Shenandoah Region of the Porsche Club of America (PCA) is dedicated to enjoying Porsche cars in central Virginia. While Porsches are the common element, our members provide the club with variety and enthusiasm. We organize scenic driving tours, run six autocrosses each year, and take part in high-performance driver's education (DE) events at the Virginia International Raceway and other tracks. Our premier event is the Richmond Porsche Meet (RPM), a June weekend including a concours, lunch, driving tour, tech session, banquet, and an autocross at the Southside Speedway. We also hold a Christmas party and several other social meetings annually.

Nonmembers are welcome to participate in a social meeting, a driving tour, or an autocross. Learn more about the Shenandoah Region PCA and our upcoming events, the PCA Zone 2 comprising 10 nearby regions, the national PCA, and how to JOIN PCA.

Wordplay 2018:

Wordplay is a spirited team trivia contest and annual fundraiser that Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle holds each year at the Paramount Theater in downtown Charlottesville. If you like "Trivial Pursuit," "Jeopardy," and the like, you will really enjoy this! The SRPCA has traditionally supported this worthy cause through financial contribution, and especially, the fielding of a three-person team of contestants. This year, the Club has increased its level of charitable giving from $500 to $1000 Bronze Sponsor (see our logo displayed on their website). Returning as team members are Mark Francis and Jeffrey Elmore. Kim Butcher will captain the team and Michael Evans will be available as substitute. Please plan to attend for an evening of fast-paced fun and audience involvement, and lend your support for our team of "Gearheads." Click here to see photos from the 2015 event. Individual tickets are on sale at the Paramount ticket office, and this year there will also be a raffle with prizes including a TV and soundbar from Crutchfield, a kayaking tripo with Rivanna River Col., beautiful jewelry from Kendra Scott, dinner at Tavern & Grocery, and much more.

Wordplay still needs a few volunteers to make the evening a great success. If you're interested in helping out, please email their volunteer coordinator, Dana, at
