WELCOME

Porsches in Shenandoah Valley The Shenandoah Region of the Porsche Club of America (PCA) is dedicated to enjoying Porsche cars in central Virginia. While Porsches are the common element, our members provide the club with variety and enthusiasm. We organize scenic driving tours, run six autocrosses each year, and take part in high-performance driver's education (DE) events at the Virginia International Raceway and other tracks. Our premier event is the Richmond Porsche Meet (RPM), a June weekend including a concours, lunch, driving tour, tech session, banquet, and an autocross at the Southside Speedway. We also hold a Christmas party and several other social meetings annually.

Nonmembers are welcome to participate in a social meeting, a driving tour, or an autocross. Learn more about the Shenandoah Region PCA and our upcoming events, the PCA Zone 2 comprising 10 nearby regions, the national PCA, and how to JOIN PCA.

UPCOMING EVENTS

2017 Summer Picnic and Region Birthday Party:

It's been 22 years since the Shenandoah Regon of the Porsche Club of America was born. We will celebrate this occasion by having a summer picnic at Keswick Vineyards (1575 Keswick Winery Dr., Keswick, VA 22947) on Saturday, August 5 starting at 11 AM. We invite all members and friends to join us for lunch and wine at Keswick Vineyards to renew friendships and enjoy the comaraderie of fellow Porsche owners.

Richmond area SRPCA members who plan to attend the anniversary picnic at the Keswick Winery in Albemarle County on August 5 are invited to travel to the site in the context of a Picnic Rally. Gathering at the Manakin-Sabot U.S. Post Office on Virginia Route 6/River Road West (about two and a half miles west of Va. 288), we will proceed through James River Valley villages and countryside, the Fluvanna Country back country, and the picturesque and manicred farmsteads of southeast Albemarle to the picnic site. No registration necessary. Just show up by 9:00 AM on August 5 at the gathering point.

We will have a delicious lunch catered by Basil Mediterranian Bistro and Keswick Winery wine will be available to purchase. The charge for lunch will be $10 per person, and since the food is being donated by Raif Antar, the Basil Mediterranean owner, the food charge will be set aside in the Club's 2017 charity fund for dispersal later this year to the Club's two selected charities — the Blue Ridge and Central Virginia Food Banks.

Wine tasting is optional at $15 per person and will be paid to the winery. Bottles of wine will be available at current winery prices and will be paid to the winery.

Please click here by July 31 to register on Motorsportreg.com so that we have an accurate headcount. This will enable us to ensure that we have adequate food for the Summer Picnic.

If you have any questions, please email Katrina Stumpf at katrinastumpf@yahoo.com.

Let's gather together for a laid back social afternoon to celebrate this anniversary with great food, fun, friends, Porsches, and wine.
