PCA Sunday Drive – 06/09/02
Phoenix to Prescott
This Sunday drive takes us from the Phoenix valley past Lake Pleasant and the Hieroglyphic mountains, through towns like Morristown, Wickenburg, Congress, Yarnell, and Peeples Valley, on route to Prescott in the Santa Maria mountains. On our final leg into Prescott we’ll work up an appetite on some twisting switch-back curves through portions of the Prescott National Forest – Fun! Fun! Fun! In Prescott we’ll stop for lunch at the Gurley Street Grill (see attached menu). The return trip is the reverse. I guarantee that the twisting switch-backs are more fun going back!
