- This will be the last official message to you as your club
President. The only disappointment I had for the year is we did
not have 100% participation in all the events we undertook during
the year. But, as I live in the real world I am grateful for
those who did show up for the events we sponsored.
- A couple highlights come to mind. For myself the D.E. weekends
in Lewistown are always a look forward to time. The
tours to Stokers and to Sheridan, Wyoming to see some very nice
restored cars, and my very first National P.C.A. Parade in Keystone;
an experience I will cherish for a long time. Our tour to Chico
was a beautiful drive. The
drive Dan put together which took us to Columbus, Roscoe, Red
Lodge and Bear Creek, was another great drive.
- August I was blown away by the response we had for the All
Euro Car Show. There were 54 cards registered and over 200 ballots
cast for the five awards we gave away. During October Doug Jenkins
showed us another group of slides of some of the most beautiful
cars in the world. There were a one of a kind Ferrari,
some early day prototypes, and custom made factory spec cars
for customers.
- Mike Ross followed up with slides of our All Euro Show and
Zane Kohlman ended the evening with a six minute video clip taken
from his in-car camera at speed during the September D.E. weekend.
It gave everyone who had never been on the track a good idea
of what it is like to run at speed.
- A week ago Rob, Dan and I got together for a little brain
storming and I truly believe we are looking forward to a very
exciting 2010.
This will probably be the last time I will made this statement
here, the club is all about the People Cars and Activities.
-
- Thank you!!!
