Announcing the                            

 

CCCR SPRING WINE TOUR

 

The tour will take place on Saturday, May 10th, and will begin right after CCCR’s regular Second Saturday Breakfast Club at the Custom House in Avila Beach.  We will visit three local wineries (maybe four, depending on time), where we will taste of some of the area’s (world’s?) best wine, some of it right from the barrel!  In between wineries, we will travel some of the neatest roads, through some of the most gorgeous landscapes on the Central Coast. 

 

The tour will end in the late afternoon at, believe it or not, McCarthy’s Wholesale Auto in San Luis Obispo, where we will enjoy the car museum, see some Porsche movies, and slug down some bratwurst and beer (and, yes, some more wine).

 

There will be a corkage fee of $15.00 per person, to cover the cost of the various wine tastings (when you gotta group, you gotta pay!) and dinner.  Registration will begin shortly after breakfast—around 10:30, with the tour set to begin around 11:00.  You don’t have to show up for breakfast, but it’s a really good way to start your day!
